Your pavement takes a beating. The seasons can cause some serious damage to your concrete or asphalt over time. That’s because of the contractions and expansion due to heat and cold. Not only that, it also takes a daily beating from your cars. It’s no surprise then that it’ll need repairs at some point, regardless of how well it was initially built. You want trusted professionals to repair or replace your pavement, to ensure it lasts as long as possible.
Pavement Services – Asphalt Repair, Concrete Restoration
We offer a range of pavement repair services. We can repair any size, whether it is a large commercially used piece of concrete or a smaller private driveway, we have the tools and expertise to handle it.
When we begin, we’ll assess the damage, and either recommend a repair, or if the damage is severe enough, a complete replacement. If simply a repair is needed, we can clear out the damaged material and patch it. If the damage is more severe, we can completely replace the material.
If we recommend a replacement, it is because it’ll save you money in the long run. Unfortunately, no matter how well it was initially built, every piece of concrete and asphalt has a finite lifespan. While you can patch some earlier damage, eventually you’ll be simply better off by replacing the whole thing.
In some cases, the original material was not properly used. For instance, if you see a spider web like network of cracks through your asphalt, that means that whoever initially installed it either used excessive sealers or improperly installed the asphalt itself. In cases such as this, it usually means that repairs are not advised and instead, you’d need to fully replace it to prevent future problems.
The difficulty of repair in this case is largely a factor of the material being repaired. If the damaged material is concrete, we would need to replace the entire slab. On the other hand, if you’ve used asphalt, we can simply take off the top layer and re-apply, assuming it was well constructed to begin with.
